The Allstate Foundation Continues to Invest in LCEE
LCEE wishes to offer sincere thanks to the Allstate Foundation for continuing to support our programming, and enabling us to grow our impact exponentially!
Through the Allstate Foundation's "Good Starts Young" initiative, LCEE was awarded $13,000 in support of our "Successful Tomorrow: Empowering Louisiana's Youth Today!" program which will run during the 2016-2017 school year.
This program focuses on three key areas:
- LCEE serves educators; our first line to Louisiana's youth! By providing innovative, on-point curricula and engaging professional development, LCEE equips educators to positively impact the lives of Louisiana students.
- LCEE serves our students; investing in our youth today, for a successful tomorrow! By building critical infrastructure that supports learning: empowering learners with the preparation, knowledge and skills to successfully enter adulthood...in the workplace, the home or the communities we believe they WILL impact, both locally and globally.
- LCEE designs and aids in the implementation of curricula that will sow the seeds for real and lasting change for the future, with a a focus on critical financial literacy skills that will help students attain their fullest potential: skills that ultimately underscore the success of all communities.
